November 10 | Week 45 Gospel Conversation Opportunity
GOSPEL CONVERSATION OPPORTUNITY
This week we walked through the last week of Jesus’ life and learned about his crucifixion and resurrection. Both of those were necessary for us to be able to no longer be separated from God!
Read Romans 3:23. The Bible tells us that we have all sinned. And remember, we have learned that sin separates us from God.
Read Romans 6:23. The Bible tells us that while are all sinners and the penalty of that sin is death, we also have access to the gift of eternal life through Jesus.
Read Romans 5:8. The Bible tells us that even when we were sinners, Christ died for us because He loved us and He paid the price for sin. (Remember Romans 6:23 says that price is death!)
Read Romans 10:9. The Bible tells us that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. This is how we accept that gift of eternal life He wants to offer us.
Spend some time really thinking about these verses today. Pray for opportunities to answer questions about salvation with your children. The reality of Jesus’ death and resurrection can be hard for younger kids. However, it is necessary to embrace the reality so that we can experience the hope of salvation!

November Memory Verse:
“The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the word of our God remains forever.”
- Bring your Bible! Your kids need to see that everything you are reading to them or learning about comes from an actual Bible!
- Each day starts with a reading prompt. Read the selection as a family. If your kids are readers, encourage them to read along with you.
- After you’ve read the passage, read the short devotional thought that goes along with each passage.
- Prayer and application are important any time we read God’s word! After each devotional, there is a challenge to help apply what your family has read that day.
- There is a reading for six days of the week. The last reading of the week is a Gospel Conversation Prompt to help you connect the reading from the week with God’s plan for salvation.
