Facebook Phases out Religion

Facebook has sent out a notice to its customers:

“Some profile info is going away soon:

Starting December 1, 2022 the following info you shared on your profile in About>Contact and basic info will be removed:

-Religious Views

Your other information will remain on your profile, along with the rest of your contact and basic info”

Facebook will remove a number of personal details from user profile bios starting December 1st.
The platform will remove “Interested in,” religious and political views, and address fields.
